Kekoso

Kekoso is an on-device speech-to-text app for macOS. Press a hotkey and dictate into whatever app your cursor is already in — Mail, Slack, Cursor, a browser form. Drop in an MP3, M4A, WAV or MP4, or paste a YouTube link, and get a clean transcript with timestamps that exports to TXT, SRT or VTT. Record a call and get it split in two tracks, so who said what is a fact rather than a guess. A local MCP server exposes eight tools to Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Codex. The recognition models run on your own hardware: no API key, no per-minute billing, no upload.
